CALL TO ORDER

Secretary Caroline Morfitt opened the meeting at 13.30 pm and continued with the introduction of board members

Minutes of March 17th were read and approved.

 

WHAT WAS DISCUSSED: how to design and pan and manage Moodle project using documentation and methods to monitor and track it and evaluate the results and effectiveness of it. We are designing Learning for Living & Work Student Area Moodle page and it is about employability, job, volunteering, functional skills English, ICT, Maths, blogger, skills, qualities, independent living, progression, shop, cook, eat, 20 famous faces, moving on, personal progress, independent living, step up, useful links, PSD/ Tutorial Resources.

Nathan agreed with Lewis that they will both design and make changes to Moodle Page. They will change Moodle icons, section banners and put new section banner and add some shadows to icons.  Caroline added she will help with design as well and add new icons. It was agreed that storyboard plan will be prepared and discussed before doing design. Plan will be done in PowerPoint and mind map will be presented.  Everybody agreed that another meeting will be held where storyboard plan will be shown and members will share work together between them. Caroline stated she is responsible for preparing storyboard plan. Lewis and Nathan agreed they will both prepare icons and put new section banner and add shadows to icons. Caroline will work on page format and grids and additional research needed for icons design. Caroline will keep track of emails and store them in her email folder. Nathan, Caroline and Lewis agreed they will remove images from Moodle page and create their own icons. They will use advanced design techniques to design the page using Adobe Photoshop, Flash and Captivate. They agreed they will duplicate the page and edit it again. They will not change the original content. They will resize the banners, add shadows, and add section information, change section banners and icons. When they complete their work, they will show their work to Level 4 and accept constructive feedback and implement changes given by their senior colleagues.
